1. About this website
This website is operated by New Ross Celtic A.F.C.(New Ross, Co. Wexford, Ireland) to support the club’s fundraiser for a full-size all-weather Astro Turf pitch. By using the site you agree to these terms.
2. Contributions are donations, not purchases
Contributions to the fundraiser are voluntary donations to a community sports club. They are not payments for goods or services, and consumer purchase protections (such as statutory cooling-off periods for purchases) do not apply to them.
No payments happen on this website.You contribute by setting up a Standing Order in your own bank, using the club’s IBAN shown on the site. That Standing Order is an arrangement between you and your bank — you can amend or cancel it in your own banking app at any time. The club cannot set up, change or cancel it for you.
3. Recognition on the wall
Supporters who complete the contribution offering (€500 once-off or €5 a week for 100 weeks) are recognised by name on the supporters’ wall. The club applies this in good faith and reserves reasonable discretion over the format and placement of recognition. If you prefer not to be named, see our Privacy Policy.
4. Website content
Fundraising figures, milestones, news and events are maintained by the club’s committee and provided in good faith. They are updated periodically and may briefly lag behind the club’s bank records. Content on the site is for general information and is not financial advice.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site;
- use the site to distribute malicious software;
- scrape or republish donor names without the club’s permission.
6. Intellectual property
The club crest, photographs and written content on this site belong to New Ross Celtic A.F.C. or are used with permission. Please don’t reuse them without asking us first.
7. External links
The site links to third-party resources — for example bank websites and step-by-step guides for setting up a Standing Order. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by Irish law, the club is not liable for loss arising from use of this website or from reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Irish law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to them.
