Cookie Policy
Last updated: 24 June 2026 · Version 1.1
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies (like browser local storage) work the same way. We use the word “cookies” for both below.
2. What this site uses
Necessary (always on)
- Committee sign-in session — a session cookie set only when a club committee member signs in to the admin area. Ordinary visitors never receive it.
- Your cookie choice — stored in browser local storage (
cookie_consent) so we don’t ask you on every visit.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool we host ourselves, to understand how supporters use the site (which pages are viewed, roughly how many visits). It is cookieless and collects no information that identifies you. It only loads after you allow analytics in the cookie banner — never before.
Error monitoring (necessary)
We use Sentry to receive automatic reports when something on the site breaks, so we can fix it. This is part of keeping the site working and secure; it is configured not to collect personal data and does not set advertising cookies.
Marketing
None. We use no advertising or social-media tracking cookies and have no plans to.
3. Managing your preferences
You can change your choice at any time via the link (also in the footer of every page). You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings — the banner will simply ask again on your next visit.
4. Changes
If our use of cookies changes, we will update this policy, bump the version above and show the consent banner again so you can make a fresh choice. See also our Privacy Policy.
